When literature scholars need to find literary works or criticism, one of the best places to start is with Gale Literature.

Gale Literature contains the Literature Resource Center, Lit Finder and a variety of ebooks.

Gale Literature contains several databases - including a primary source works - so researchers can find criticism, reviews, news articles and biographies with one search platform.

The works search helps you find specific stories, poems, plays or novels. Results are clearly marked so that one can distinguish criticism from reviews, from author interviews or the works themselves.

Similar works titles are noted and one can see how many resources are available for each.

Like all Gale products, Gale Literature offers a user-friendly interface and allows the researcher to login with a Microsoft (MSMU email) or Google account in order to save documents for future use.

Login with Microsoft or Google to save documents. Easily limit search results to full text or peer reviewed content.

It is easy to limit results lists to full text or peer reviewed journals.  Clicking the title of an article brings up the full text which may be read in a browser, downloaded as a pdf document, translated into a plethora of languages or listened to.

A downloaded pdf article may also be uploaded to JSTOR's text analyzer in order to find additional articles on the topic.

To learn more, please join us for a brief webinar - a demo/Q&A - on May 19 at noon PDT!  All registrants will receive by emailed a recording for asynchronous viewing.
