Did you know Juneteenth was adopted in 2021 as the 12th U.S. federal holiday? Read more about its significance and history. Find current and past articles that mention Juneteenth in the Library's new Access World News subscription.
Other databases, too, promote race-related research.  Check out ICPSR's Juneteenth page, in which the data source provider showcases data sets on such topics as the economics of slavery and surveys on Black families across generations.  ICPSR invites researchers to watch video presentations about how scholars use data to understand, explain and confront racial issues.
