As the Fall term comes to an end, this December we turn our attention to helpful Library resources that provide access to books and e-books.

Quick Search home page

Pro Tips: Make sure you are signed into your MSMU account to be able to view the full catalog.  If you aren't signed in, some of the items you're looking for won't show up.

Sign in to myMSMU for full access.

Best Use: I've used this so much when I am in need of a book. It's quick and easy to navigate and a good resource to use if you can't purchase books! If you use this resource you will be able to see how long you are able to have the book for.

Advanced Search - select books

Selecting "Books" as a material type helps narrow search results solely to books.  You can also narrow basic searches using the limiters on the right side of the screen.

Another helpful web resources is the Suggest a Purchase form.

Suggest a Purchase is an incredibly useful resource as it allows students to request books that are needed for a class or are of interest to the student. What this also does is helps the library see and understand what students are looking for and need.
