As many people know, April is National Poetry Month.  However, since 1999, UNESCO has encouraged nations to celebrate World Poetry Day on March 21.  On this day, we recognized that, while poetry is written in many different languages by all kinds of people throughout time, it speaks in a way that is universal.

Find poetic works from many countries and eras in ProQuest One Literature and Gale LitFinder.
