The Doheny Maker Lounge is a self-guided makerspace! Generally, a makerspace is a room or area dedicated to hands-on discovery. This space is stocked with the tools, supplies, and other resources needed to facilitate your creative projects. You may arrive with an idea (or even a half-baked idea!) and leave with a finished product. The goal of the makerspace is to further your experiential or kinesthetic learning skills and encourage your appetite for innovation and creativity!
NOTE: The Doheny Maker Lounge remains a study room as well, and can be reserved by groups who wish to study in the room.

The Doheny Maker Lounge is available for use by current MSMU students, faculty, and staff in their coursework and other MSMU related work.
Located in the McCarthy Library on the Doheny Campus, the Doheny Maker Lounge can be found on the 1st floor in Study Room 1 (Purple) near the Circulation Desk. It is accessible from the main entrance and has restrooms available nearby.

Before using the space for the first time,
you MUST complete the Maker Lounge User Agreement.
Note: You only need to complete it once.
You may reserve the Study Room / Maker Lounge for your class for groups of up to 10 at a time.
