How often, as a Psychology student or professor, does one look for videos to explain therapeutic and clinical practices?
Kanopy, MSMU Libraries' main source of streaming films, has a lot to offer.
This month, however, we invite you to delve into Psychotherapy.net.
Psychotherapy.net offers a wide variety of films about various clinical practices and therapy techniques. Film like CBT for Personality Disorders, Solution Oriented Family Therapy, Multicultural Competence in Counseling and Psychotherapy, and Culturally Sensitive Counseling with Latinos are all available in this collection of 50 films and are not available through MSMU's Kanopy.
Each film includes closed captioning as well as a fully searchable transcript, so you can find words or phrases and start playing the film at a certain point.
Films also include a downloadable manual with instructions from the video creators on how to use the film and/or the therapeutic method in a classroom or clinical setting.
Check out Psychotherapy.net and inspire growth in your clinical practice knowledge base!
