How do I find full-text articles?

If you have found a citation or abstract with no full-text (PDF) attached, try the following strategies:

1. Some citations have links to full-text articles on other MSMU Libraries databases. Remember that the most recent issues of many journals are withheld from databases for a year or more, especially in the scientific and biomedical journals.
2. If there is no link to full text you can search the library catalog to see if we have a subscription to the print edition. Remember to search by journal title, not the title of the article.
3. In each database the PDF link is located in a different spot, make sure to look around, or use a shortcut (ctrl + f or command + f) to search the page for the word "PDF"
4. Ask a Librarian!
